I am a writer from Edinburgh, Scotland.
My writing combines my fascination with history, folklore and mythology.
I have finished writing my middle grade novel, Time Keepers - "Connor's family just don't get him. Perhaps -- as he travels back in time on a quest to save the world -- his ancestors will."
I have recently finished the draft of my second, a pyschological crime novel entitled Murder Ballads.
Balfour-Bryce McAlpin is possibly my favourite character: a Victorian gentleman, misanthrope and miscreant living in 1870s Edinburgh. You wouldn't take him home to meet anyone, let alone your mother.
I aim to self-publish my collection of Scottish folklore-based short stories -- Dark Waters soon.
